O-Hanami!
cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms, and more cherry blossoms!!! they're here!! this past weekend i went into tokyo because my friend joey sakaue was visiting some friends in japan so i decided to go see him. but before that, michelle and i met to go to a "fertility festival" in kawasaki-daishi it was quite..."interesting"...let's just say i can't post a lot of the pictures from this festival :/
here are some that i can post:
since the festival was so close to yokohama, michelle and i decided to try hit up the ramen museum again...and luckily, it was open this time! :)
finally, it was off to meet joey and some other hawaii guys in ueno park for "o-hanami" aka "cherry blossom viewing with a lot of alcohol"...hanami is awesome! there are tons of people who bring blue tarps and sit under the trees all day/all night and listen to music, talk story, eat, and drinK!!!
the next day it was off to do more hanami, but this time we went to a park near michelle's apartment in omiya...michelle and i are addicted to festival food!! yuummm...
overall it was a good weekend with lots of sakura, lots of sake, and lots of food!! :)
last last weekend, chantrell and I went to Aquamarine Fukushima, which is Fukushima's largest aquarium. It was ok...nothing too impressive though.
it's been a rough past couple of weeks, but i'll be ok...i'm getting really homesick and i can't wait for brianne and kevin to come visit me! i miss everyone at home especially "someone"...you know who you are...
