OOOOOO-saka!!!

Minnasan Omataseshimashita!!! hahaha i can't believe it's been exactly a month since i've last posted! sorry mom, i know you've been bugging me for those thailand pictures for weeks already! august was such a whirlwind, i never even had time to check my emails most days. My friend kim from back home was staying with me for the past week and a half, and she just left on monday. The only reason why i have time to do this now is because we're getting hit by a typhoon, and we only have to work half-day.

So, as most of you know, the second week of august was our obon vacation. Michelle and I left for osaka on saturday night, and we met up with tehani and javaria on sunday to go to summer sonic!! Summer sonic is a HUGE concert held in osaka and tokyo every year. There are a total of five stages and each with popular mainstream acts going on from 11am-9pm. It was awesome!

later that night it was off to the beer garden! every summer on the rooftops of most train stations and major department stores they have this thing where you pay a flat rate and it's all you can eat and all you can drink....good times! this year's theme-HAWAII!
